The construction of the human face.
Course overview
Using a mounted plastic skull as an armature, the face is constructed in layers, starting with the deep musculature, the facial fat, the superficial musculoaponeurotic system and musculature, and finally the skin.
Specific attention is devoted to construction of the eyes and periorbita, ears, nose, and oral apparatus.
The final two days will focus specifically on accurate sculpting with an attempt to achieve likeness, giving attention to animation, aging and cosmesis.
