The whole body course involves the construction of the entire musculoskeletal system with coloured modelling wax, on a posed 3D printed skeleton.
Examples of the skeletal poses can be seen in the sculptures below from our latest course.
Each completed model can be scanned for future 3D printing, or can be moulded for bronze casting, depending on the candidate's wishes and budget.
Because of the detail of the course material and size of the sculptures, the course is usually limited to 10 candidates. Each session will be accompanied by anatomical teaching with preparatory sketching and planning.
The course will take place over three days, as detailed below, with attention being given to each anatomical zone-
09.00 to 13.00 - Posterior trunk
14.00 to close - Anterior trunk
09.00 to 13.00 - Lower limb
14.00 to close - Upper limb
09.00 to 13.00 - Neck
14.00 to close - Finishing touches
