It involves the construction of the entire body musculoskeletal system with coloured modelling wax, on a posed 3D printed skeleton.
Examples of the skeletal, poses will be posted on the course website, and each candidate can choose which one they prefer.
The relative size of each of the skeletons can be gauged by noting the electrical plug included in each picture. Each completed model can be scanned for 3D printing, or can be moulded for bronze casting, depending on the candidate's wishes and budget.
The course is limited to 10 candidates, and the venue is the Edgbaston Park Hotel. This has become a standard venue for our courses, becuase of the high standard of the facilities. Each session will be accompanied by anatomical teaching with preparatory sketching and planning.
The course will take place over three days, as detailed below, with attention being given to each anatomical zone-
09.00 to 13.00 - Posterior trunk
14.00 to close - Anterior trunk
09.00 to 13.00 - Lower limb
14.00 to close - Upper limb
09.00 to 13.00 - Neck
14.00 to close - Finishing touches
